Club Scrap Homestead Blog Hop

Welcome to the Club Scrap Homestead Blog Hop.  If you got here from Annette's Page you are in the right place.  If you got here some other way and would like to go back to the beginning of the blog hop go to the Club Scrap Blog here. I subscribe to the Club Stamp Digital Kit, the Art Nouveau StampClub Stamp Kit,  Unmounted Borders and Backgrounds Stamp, and the Embellishment Pack.

The digital kits come at the first of the month so I played with my digital kit first.   I finally got around to scrapping our trip to South Dakota in 2012.  I know, I'm slow, but we had a wedding last year so I got nothing else done.  Here's a page of photos that I forgot to print so I scrapped them in digital mode.  The rest of the pages are in paper mode.

The card I made with my Club Stamp kit when it arrived is Pinterest inspired.

Thanks for joining us on the hop!  Next up is Wendy Bellino.   If you want to go back to the beginning of the blog hop go to the Club Scrap Blog here.

Inspired By Stamping Build a Stocking

One of the great things about Inspired by Stamping set is that there are matching cut files for the stamp sets.  Sometimes you can have fun with just the cut files.  Here is a card I made with the Build a Stocking cut file.

I embossed the vellum after I cut it and glued two stockings together and filled it with colorful sequins.

Inspired by Stamping Winter Birds Release

Christmas will be here sooner than we think!  Here's an idea for a Seasonal card.
Inspired by Stamping, Crafty Colonel, Winter Birds, Christmas Card

The Cardinal is such a bright and cheery bird for a Christmas Card.  Especially when you team him up with some green and gold.  I shined him up with some Wink of Stella for a more frosty look.

There are three other birds in the set and all of them would make wonderful cards!

Sunshine and Smiles

I had fun playing with the new Inspired by Stamping Diamonds set and the Fancy Circles set.  It was very easy to put them together and make some sunshine!
I started by Stamping the diamond border Fancy Circle.
I created a mask by cutting a 2 1/8 inch circle out of a sticky note and placed it over my stamped circle.
Using the solid diamond I stamped around the circle lining up the horizontal corners with the edge of the circle.
Here's what it looks like when the mask is removed.

Here's my finished card after cutting out the sun and stamping a sentiment using Inspired by Stamping Teeny Tiny Greetings.

Hallo-no-ween Card

I don't really have a use for Halloween cards as there are no small children in our family right now.  So I made this card a Hall-no-ween card.  The design and colors go with the season for a vintage love card.

Inspired by Stamping, Crafty Colonel, French Country, Teeny Tiny Greetings, Diamond Cover Plate Cut File, Love Card
I die cut the diamond background in black and orange using Inspired by Stamping's Diamond Cover Plate Cut File.  After mounting the black cut over  purple cardstock I interspersed orange cut diamonds in the spaces.  Many Halloween type decorations have a French Country feel to them.  So I used the Inspired by Stamping French Country Stamp set and cut file for the flourishes, keys and large label.  The sentiment is from Teeny Tiny Greetings.

House of Cards October Classic & Elegant

It is time for another challenge over at the House of Cards Challenge blog.  This week it is the Classic & Elegant team's turn to post.  This month Mynn our challenge host is sharing a tutorial and asking us to make cards using a die or punch.  Here's my card for the challenge.

This is a CASE of a Sue Wilson card.  I loved her idea of the black Embossing Powder on Black paper.  Here's a closeup of it.

A little hard to see but truly elegant!  The banner is Lawn Fawn and the sentiment is Inspired by Stamping.   Die cuts are Spellbinders and Stampin'Up.

Come join us at the House of Cards Challenge Blog and use your dies or punches!

Inspired by Stamping Fall Card

Hi!  Donna here with a Fall inspired card.  Fall is in full swing here in Colorado.  The Aspen are turning gold and we already had our first snowfall in the mountains.

To make my Crochet trim on the card stand out against the light background I put a darker piece of ribbon behind it.

The beautiful leaf design of the Fancy Labels 18 accents the large sentiment from the Everyday Greetings Set.

The gold color go right along with our Aspen turning in the Colorado mountains and the Inspired by Stamping Monthly Blog Challenge Gold.

World Cardmaking Day 2014

What better for World Cardmaking Day 2014 than a card with the world on it!

Operation Write Home has a bloghop today and is asking for us to make love cards
and post on their linky.
The papers and stamps for this card are from the Club Scrap Bookshelves kit.  (Now Retired) Of course Club Scrap has tons of new stuff every month just as beautiful as this kit.
