Cards in Envy Green

Today starts a new challenge on the Cards in Envy blog.  Your card can be any theme as long as you show lots of GREEN on your card.

I used the Club Scrap It's a Plaid, Plaid World collection.  I added some crystal shamrocks that I had in my embellishments.  Come on over to the Cards in Envy blog and link up your green cards.  Check out the green cards from the rest of the design team too.

Steamworks

If you like steampunk you will like the current Club Scrap kit called Steamworks.  There's a Linky Party tomorrow on the Club Scrap blog and I'll be linking up with this card.  There's a digital kit, paper kit, and a cardmaking kit.  I played around with the stamps for the corners on this card and dug out and old Time & Space stamp for the clock.  I used my Distress Oxide inks for the background with a stencil.  The sentiment and balloon is from the digital kit.

Cards in Envy Give it Some Heart

Time for another challenge at Cards in Envy.  We are looking for cards that have at least one heart.

I am still playing with the Simon Says Stamp Valentine's kit from a couple years ago.  I am liking the Sand and red color combination.  The window die is Just Rite  and the love die is Stampin'Up.  Hearts are an old punch I have.

Cards in Envy Love you So Much!

I got a Simon Says Stamp Valentine kit a couple of years ago that I had never opened.  It had this cute stamps set and some nice papers.  So glad I dug through my stash to start using it.

Club Scrap 2/18 Sketch Challenge

Now that Club Scrap has moved the challenges to the Facebook Club Scrap Chat I find it a little easier to find them and participate.  Roni Johnson posted this sketch challenge for February.

I used Club Scrap Literature kit for this card.

Hard to see but the heart is cut from the bronze shiny paper in the Literature kit.  I looks great IRL.

Cards in Envy Tuxedo Challenge

We have a new challenge over on the Cards in Envy blog.  This time we are looking for Black and White cards.  December 6th my sister passed away very suddenly.  This card reflects my current mood.  This was an extremely hard Christmas season for our family.  You should always have a few sympathy cards on hand for times like this. 

I used Stampin'Up Delicate Details and Timeless Texures plus some old Creative Memories paper tape.  Come check out what the other Design Team members came up with - there's a wide variety of card types this time, all of them in Black and White.  Link up your Black and White card with us too.

Cards in Envy Winter Chills

Happy New Year!  Hope this blog post finds you warm and cozy.  There is a new challenge on the Cards in Envy blog.  Show us your cards with any type of Winter theme (snowflakes, mittens, ice, hats, scarfs etc.) 

I used the Club Scrap Shades of Winter kit.  I stamped the snowflakes and berries in Versamark ink and then used WOW Vintage Peacock glitter embossing powder on them.  They really sparkle!  The DP is mounted over blue shimmer paper for more sparkle.

Cards in Envy Framed with Circles

Today is a new challenge on the Cards in Envy blog.  Show us your cards using one or more circle frames.  I'm still working on Christmas cards.

A couple of weekends ago a bunch of us went down to my Sister-in-laws and had a weekend crafting extravaganzaa.  We made a bunch of these poinsettias from Heartfelt Creations (and some roses too).  Square cards are not my normal size but it worked well with this DP.  This will fit in an envelope - it will just squish the flower a little.

Club Scrap Scandinavian Holiday Linky Party

Today on the Club Scrap blog there is a linky party for the cute Scandinavian Holiday Collection.  Here is a Christmas tag I made from the collection.

The technique I used for the 3D Christmas tree was and idea I got from Jennifer McQuire's blog.  The tree stamps are not quite symmetrical but it still worked out to make a cute 3D tree.  Come check out all the Holiday ideas on the Club Scrap blog with the adorable Scandinavia Holiday collection.

Cards in Envy Jingle All the Way

Time for a new challenge on the Cards in Envy blog.  We're looking for Christmas or December Holiday cards with one or more bells on them.

I ordered a Card Kit from Spellbinders and got some cardstock, cute paper, colored diecuts, ribbon and some very nice dies.  I used my spellbinders bell dies for the bells.
