Inkspirational Challenge #6

This week at the Inkspirational Blog the challenge is a color challenge.

The plum and navy set the tone for me to make a sympathy card.  I usually don't have enough of those around when I need them.

The photo doesn't do it justice because the dragonfly is embossed silver and it is a brushed silver edge around the purple background.  It is super shiny IRL.

Products Used:
Cardstock:  Stampin'Up! Crumb Cake, Not Quite Navy, and Elegant Eggplant
Stamps:  Measure of Life (retired), Teeny Tiny Wishes, En Francais
Ink:  Stampin'Up Perfect Plum, Versamark Watermark, Silver Pigment Ink (unknown manutacture)
Embossing Powder:  Ranger Super Fine Detail Silver
Embellishments:  Making Memories Shaped Gem Brads
Tools:  Tonic Paper Distresser, Tonic Craft Pick

Happy Crafting!

  6. You're right a) this color scheme is perfect for sympathy cards b) unfortunately we need to have some of those cards too. Your take on the color and sympathy theme is great!

  7. Hi Donna. I just wanted to respond to your question about the cardstock in my printer. I have to drop back to 100lb to get it through my printer. I wish I could get the 110lb to go through, but it won't.

  8. Lovely card! A good photo ain't always easy, and metallic (and glitter) is even worse than anything else... Great job, I'm sure it's even more amazing in RL!!! Thank you for joining Inkspirational this week :)

  9. Wonderful card and a great way to use our colours Donna. Sad we have to create these types of cards I agree. I love the dragonfly and the script. Lovely. Thanks for sharing with us at Inkspirational, hope to see you back soon. Meighan

  10. Hi Donna! I just wanted to say thank you for the honest comments about my rainbow card. It really helps to get honest feedback. I knew this one was off, but your assessment confirmed by doubts. I have to learn to listen to myself! Thank you sweet friend!

Thank you so much for your comments. I read and enjoy all of them.
