Club Scrap National Parks Bloghop

Welcome to the Club Scrap National Parks bloghop.
If you arrived here from Deb's blog you are in the right place.  If you arrived here from somewhere else and would like to start at the beginning of the bloghop, go HERE to the Club Scrap blog

I get my digital kit on the first day of the month. As I go through my digital photos I noticed I hadn't scrapped our visit to the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park.  A few miles west of  Gunnison, Colorado it is a spectacular place to visit.  My photos did not do it justice since it was a cloudy day.

I use Panstoria Artisan software for my digital scrapbooking.  This is a Pixels2Pages blueprint.

Sadly my Club Stamp Kit has not arrived yet. :-(
Hopefully it will be here today (Wednesday) but I had to post this without a card made from the Club Stamp Kit.

Next on the list is Julie at The Cape Cod Scrapper.
If you would like to start at the beginning of the blog hop head on over to the

Club Scrap June Technique Linky Challenge

The June Technique Linky Challenge at Club Scrap is to make a maze book.  If you click to the challenge there is a video on making a maze book using a pre-printed 12 x 12 page.  I made one using a plain 12 x 12 page and embellishing it with papers and goodies from the Club Scrap Lock and Key Kit (still available as a digital download).

Here's the front of the book.  The ribbon ties in front to keep it together.
Inside front cover using mettalic copper paper to mat the key cut aparts.
Stamped a key with shiny gold ink.
Using more cut aparts to decorate pages.
Another cut apart matted with the copper metallic paper.
I stamped and embossed the back with copper metallic EF.
Now I'll dig through my picture stash and add some pictures to the blank pages in the book.

CASE-ing Ellen

Welcome to another week at CASE-ing Christmas.  We provide a card for you to CASE (Copy and Share Everywhere) and you get ahead on your Christmas Card stash!   This week we are CASE-ing Ellen.  Here is my take on the CASE!

Instead of a card this time I decided it would be fun to make a pocket scrapbook card.  This is a 4x6 card ready to be inserted into a pocket scrapbook page about Christmas.  It is hard to see but the tree has gold Stickle ornaments on it.  The edges of the card are inked with gold paint.
Here's Ellen's card for comparison.

Sunday Inspiration

Happy Sunday!  Here is some crafty inspiration for this week.

Sympathy cards are not easy to make considering the occasion.  I decided to keep a few on hand since it is usually short notice when I need one.  This is the May 2014 Layers of Life from Unity Stamp Company.  I used Antique Linen and Tattered Rose distress ink to color the paper.  Sentiment is from Inspired by Stamping (retired).  May Arts Ribbon.
Hope your Sunday is a blessed one!

Cards In Envy Girls

I made this card for the challenge over at the Cards in Envy blog.  The challenge was girly cards in A2 Size (4.25" x 5.5") and flat enough to fit in an envelope for mailing.

Crafty Colonel Donna Nuce, For Cards in Envy blog, Sentiment Club Scrap
I dug around and found some pink DP that was girly.  I cut out the banner from another piece of DP and used a Club Scrap digital sentiment from the Wildflowers collection.  The design is based loosely on Operation Write Home sketch #191.

CSSC #5 and Little Tangles #57

I like to play along with my blog friend Leslie Hannah over at The Crooked Stamper Blog.  She has a monthly challenge and this month her sketch is also on the Little Tangles blog for their challenge.  Here is my take on the sketch.

Crafty Colonel Donna Nuce, Close to My Heart Taste of Summer Stamp Set, for CSSC #5 challenge.

Here's Leslie's Sketch.

If you would like to play along click on the sketch to go to the challenge.  You can also enter on the Little Tangles Challenge #57 since Leslie is a guest designer for that challenge too.
I am also adding this to Addicted to Stamps - use summer colors.

CASE-ing Christmas Judy

Welcome to another week at CASE-ing Christmas.  We provide a card for you to CASE (Copy and Share Everywhere) and you get ahead on your Christmas Card stash!  This week we are CASE-ing Judy!  Here is my take on the CASE!

Crafty Colonel Donna Nuce for CASE-ing Christmas blog, StampinUp Christmas Bliss and Festive Flurry
I pretty much stuck with the design that Judy used.  I wanted more of a winter theme to the card so I switched to blues and snowflakes.  I still kept the bling!  Here is Judy's card for you to compare.

Here's a close up of that bling and the shiny silver cardstock, heat embossing and washi tape!
