Club Scrap Creative License Card

I finally had time to get out my Club Stamp Kit and make a card.  You would think by looking at this card that it is for a male graduate but the young lady this card is going to happens to drag race with her parents and my DH at Bandimere Speedway so I know she will like the tone of this card.

I used the Club Stamp Creative License kit for DP and the Club Scrap Embellishment kit for the sentiment and the dream key and key chain.  I wanted the graduate to be able to remove the key and chain from the card so I used two eyelet holes for the key chain to thread through.  I popped the DP up from the card base so it is easy to take the key and key chain off the card.  It's a busy weekend for us with two graduation parties.  I'm off to make another graduation card.

Club Scrap Creative License Blog Hop

Time for another Blog Hop at Club Scrap.  This month it's all about cars!  The new Creative License kit is so much fun to work with.  Especially since DH is into drag racing.  Here's a quick page showing two of the drag racing cars we have owned. I don't have photos of the newest one yet - need to get up to the track and see it run. I used the digital kit that I get at the first of the month to do this page.

I'll be back later this week with some cards out of the Club Stamp kit.  My kit just arrived yesterday so I haven't had much time to play with it yet.  Be sure to check out the Club Scrap blog and link up your Creative License projects.

Cards in Envy Deep Blue

Time for another challenge at Cards in Envy.  This time we would like you to use mostly Deep Blue colors on your cards.  This reminded me of a Club Stamp Kit from May 2015 called "The Blues." I have a niece graduating from High School this month who lettered in Choir so I created this musical card for her.

I used SU Night of Navy as my ink and boy is that deep blue ink! LOL  I added some Wink of Stella to the dark blue inked areas so it is not so dark.

At Cards in Envy we ask that your cards be no more than 1/4" think without lumps so they fit in a standard mail envelope.  We no longer have a size restriction on cards.  Come check out what the other members of the Design Team did and then link up your card with us on the

Cards in Envy Just Us Girls

It's time for a new challenge on the Cards in Envy blog.  This time we want to see your feminine cards.  Nothing to me is more feminine than floral cards.  I am in love with this Dahlia DP from Club Scrap designed by Swarup Murthy (Sanketi on her blog).  Here's a card that I think will be perfect for my Mom this Mother's Day.

Crafty Colornel Donna Nuce for Cards in Envy Challenge, Club Scrap Dahlia A2 Card
My Mom is 88 years old and has Macular Degeneration.  When we go out she always wants to hold on to me (even though she has a cane to help keep her balance).  I realize that she held my hand when I was little and needed help - now it's my turn to help her.

Cards in Envy asks that you only post cards that are flat (no more than 1/4" thick) so they can me mailed in a standard envelope.  We have no size restrictions on cards now.  Check out the other design team members cards on the Cards in Envy blog and then link up your feminine cards with us.
