Welcome!
Trees is the theme for this month's Club Scrap/Stamp Kit. I am excited to be part of this bloghop for my first time. I subscribe to the Club Stamp Kit and the Club Scrap Digital Kit. Here is what I got in my Club Stamp Kit.

Club Scrap Trees Digital Kit
For the digital kits I use the Panstoria Artisan Software to make my digital pages. I have been working on scrapbook pages of my family's summer cabin in the historic mining town of Alma, Colorado. I found this photo of my grandparent's car heading up the road outside the cabin in Autumn. I love the vintage car and the beautiful aspen leaves. The trees kit really highlighted this photo and I love the overlays in the kit that make my photo look more vintage.
Then I used my Club Stamp kit to make some cards for Operation Write Home. I loved the "Stand Tall" sentiment in the Borders and Backgrounds stamps. I can see a Dad sending a card like this to his son. I like how the designer print has a circle that looks like a cloudy moon.
I used the Operation Write Home Sketch #156. I stamped the tree on the light green cardstock with Ranger Archival ink in Fern Green and then cut it out. I edged the print papers in Tim Holtz Forest Moss Distress ink. I used three Stampin'Up Regal Designer Dots because they are nice and flat (a requirement for Operation Write Home cards -- no lumpy embellishments).
The next stop on the blog hop is Wendy Bellino. If you got here some other way and want to see the complete list of participants go to the Club Scrap Blog - Club Scrap Creates.
Happy Crafting!
