Cards in Envy Beautiful Butterflies

It's time for another challenge at Cards in Envy.  This time we are looking for cards with one or more Butterflies!  I have lots of butterfly stamps but when I saw this darling DP from October Afternoon that was in my stash I had to make it into a card.

CarftyColonel Donna Nuce for Cards in Envy Challenge, October Afternoon DP, Stampin;Up Chalk Talk, Thank You Card

There's a little bit of a change on the Cards in Envy blog.  We lifted the size limitation for cards and have now decided to continue with the any size or any shape card for our challenges. BUT we still require that all cards entered into our challenge be FLAT (no thicker than 1/4") so they would easily fit into an envy (envelope) for mailing!  That's where we get our blog and challenge name:  "Cards in Envy!"

Come check out what our Design Team created this week and then link you your card on the

Just for fun I am adding this to Darnell's NBUS (Never before used Schtuff! Challenge) since I have had this October Afternoon paper and this StampinUp! Chalktalk stamps in my stash unused until now.

Happy Crafting!
Donna

  4. Sorry I'm late visiting. But I'm glad I came over, wouldn't miss this beautiful card with brilliant use of DP and sentiment. Some papers are just so special that they can stand alone without any image, and this is such a paper.

  5. Good for you for using that fantastic pp, Donna! It would make a card all by itself, but you took it that extra mile with your bold sediment banner! Thank you so much for playing in my NBUS Challenge #6! I apologize for taking so long to come by and thank you. Enjoy your day! (I'll add this challenge to my challenge tab; don't know why I haven't before since I tend to make only flat cards! Slap!) Hugs, Darnell
