This week at Operation Write Home the Midweek Throwdown challenge is Monkeys! I rarely make cards with animals on them (mostly dogs) and so my scraproom was seriously devoid of any Monkey/Jungle type supplies. I did have one Cricut Cartridge Creative Memories Stork's Delivery with this darling monkey on it.
The jungle paper is from Creative Memories Cheerful Tropical Addition and the cute palm trees are from the Creative Memories Delight Surfer Girl Digital Edition. I printed the paper and palm trees using StoryBook Creator 4.0 software to size them correctly. The sentiment stamp is from the Creative Memories limited edition Stamper System Bundle. If I decide to add any monkey supplies to my scrap stash I would like to add a sock monkey stamp because I think sock monkeys are adorable.
Happy Crafting!

A polka dot monkey!!! How darling is that???? (I really must remember I can use my cricut more on things like this!)
ReplyDeleteI love him, the paper, and the sentiment! Funny coincident, I was looking at a sock monkey stamp in an LSS at the coast the other day and almost took him home. If he's still there when we go back in a couple weeks, I may get him.
What a cute monkey love the polka dots. You have a great sentiment on this one also. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteGreat card:) I love the three d effect of the monkey and the palm trees flow right along with the monkey giving him the illusion of swinging from tree to tree....Love it:)
ReplyDeleteDonna this card is adorable! Thank you for your sweet comments on my blog today. I'm glad I was able to inspire you :D
ReplyDeletehugs,
