These stamps beg to be heat embossed. I heat embossed them with Ranger Super Fine Gold EP. Then I colored them with Distressed Markers in Dusty Concord and Mowed Lawn. I used the gorgeous text weight DP for the background. The bow was from my stash already tied so I decided to use it (because I have a hard time tying a bow (LOL). The kit does come with some beautiful yellow and green striped sheer ribbon. Here is a close up of the shiny embossing.
I was really happy when I got the digital kit because I have been working on Scrapbooking my daughter's wedding photos. The colors in the Hydreangeas kit goes so well with her wedding colors. Here's a page I did with the digital kit. For the digital kits I use the Panstoria Artisan Software to make my digital pages.
Now head on over to Wendy's Blog next. If you want to start at the beginning of the hop go HERE.

ReplyDeleteLovely, Donna, just lovely!! Glad you showed us both a paper and a digital project--your versatility is amazing. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteOooh, Donna. I agree those flowers need to be embossed, and the gold looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteGreat call embossing those flowers, they look fantastic! I find it hard to color flowers, I'm no coloring expert, and I will definitely try heat embossing too. The background DP matches the image and colors perfectly. Gorgeous ribbon too!
ReplyDeleteThe embossing on the card is beautiful. Never thought of using gold.
ReplyDeleteYour daughter is lovely and how neat the kit does work great with her flowers.
Very lovely! How do you store these downloads? and saving them. i use a Linux/Fedora system. I guess that once I downloaded them I am afraid that I will lose them some how...technology and all. And my printer isn't the greatest. What type of techniques can you do with digis that are similar to rubberstamping? thanks, -con
ReplyDeleteI print them at a commercial sevice (heritage makers) so all can enjoy. Panstoria also has a printing service. I also use a backup service for my computer. The Panstoria software has a rubberstamping app that gives the look of a rubber stamp.
DeleteLove the card and the LO - gorgeous work!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful card and really a lovely wedding page! I am encouraged to heat emboss these stamps. Thank you!
ReplyDeleteLove the embossing! Beautiful card and page!
