Don't you hate it when you can't find something in your craft room? I was totally frustrated because I purchased some enamel dots just for this challenge. I know they made it to my craft room. When it was time to make the card do you think I could find them? I didn't want to make any enamel dots since I rarely use them. They are too thick for Operation Write Home cards (or for any mailing in a regular envelope). So I used my candy dots instead. Here's my card - just pretend those are enamel dots on it (LOL)!
With all the snow we are having here in Colorado I needed something bright and cheery!
Come join us at the House of Cards for some fun with enamel dots.
Happy Crafting!
Donna
We have snow like you are having here in the Northeast so this card is a delight to look at. Your dots looks great not matter what type they ended up being. The perfect embellishments for this card. Stay warm and hope you get to dig out soon. We got another 6 inches last night with more to come tomorrow night and maybe Thursday also. All the more reason I enjoyed seeing your card this morning.
ReplyDeletesuch a beautiful and bright card! we just got more snow and broke the cold temp record 5 times in february!

ReplyDeleteThose 'dots' look great, if you hadn't said I would never have known! Love the card, so fresh.
ReplyDeleteHi Donna
ReplyDeleteYes you did make me smile. They're not something I use so I was glad to get a bargain. I too would have been non the wiser about your dots if you hadn't fessed up lol!
Love the bright colours and design. Been gorgeous but windy here today. Hope Spring is not to far off for us all.
Best wishes.

Oh Donna, it is so funny that you could not find your enamel dots after you put them in your craft room. I have the same problem, hence the name of my blog, Black Hole Art Studio. Stuff goes in and goes missing for a period of time. Eventually, I find it. LOL Love your card with the candy dots. It is hard to tell they are not enamel. Hugs, Barbara/HOC DT
ReplyDeleteI love your design for this, Donna! I have so many of these fancy circle stamps, but I haven't liked a CAS use of them as much as I like this one!! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteGreat card! I thought they were enamel dots on it! Oh yeah- I hate it when I can't find something in my studio! Betcha you found them after you posted!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! Love the colors that you used-and you wouldn't know those were Candi's. I have lost many things in my scrapbook room-so I totally understand but you made a fantastic recovery. :) Hugs--Katy HOC Teammate :)

ReplyDeleteHi Donna! Love this card! The colors are great! Heck, I spend half my time in the craft room looking for something I knew I bought and can't remember where I put it. So, I can sympathize! Have a great week!
