Club Scrap Lagoon

I finally had a chance to get out my Club Stamp Lagoon kit and make some cards.  I came up with different versions from the suggestions in the kit.  I'll add these to the linky party for Lagoon.

On this card I used the Quad Print and cut slits in the seaweed.  The fish are stamped, cut out and  inserted in the slits to make it look like they are swimming in and out of the seaweed.  The fish are coated with Wink of Stella for some shine.

On this card I used the Quad Print.  I stamped the mermaid tail on contrasting paper and then used sequins to accent the bubbles.  The mermaid tail is coated with Wink of Stealla for some shine.

Cards in Envy Simple, Plain Card

The challenge on the Cards in Envy blog starts today and we are asking for simple, plain cards (Easy as 1, 2, 3).  That was a real challenge for me.

I did a stencil background (using distress ink and perfect pearls over the ink) and two die cuts.  That is as simple as I get (LOL)!  I really wanted to start working on Christmas Cards.  Yes, we have about 2 months before it is time to mail out Christmas Cards.

Cards in Envy Celebrate

Happy Labor Day to you. Hope you are enjoying the last days of the summer.   There is a new challenge on the Cards in Envy blog.  We want to see your Celebration or Congratulation cards.  I have been going through my stash and getting out some of my old Club Scrap kits.  The Constellation kit has some beautiful shiny paper that is great for celebration cards.
