Scrapbook Expo this Weekend
Scrapbook Expo showed up in Denver yesterday and today. The first one here in Denver was last year and this one was bigger and better. My Sister, SIL, a friend and I attended the all day crop Friday (until midnight) and shopped in the vendor area. I took a class from The Rubber Cafe on fabulous fold cards and from SEI Crafts on making and envelope album. Our Colorado based Clear Scraps company had a class on their Send it Clear Cards that I took also. You'll be seeing some of the projects on my blog later.
I picked up quite a haul while shopping. Some new Tim Holtz Sizzix dies, some Sizzix flower dies to help me finish up my daughters bouquet for the wedding in December. I purchased 3 new embossing folders, six stamps from The Rubber Cafe and a Tea Party stamp from a company called Fun Stampers Journey (which I will use for some Wedding Shower Tea decor. I also picked up some laser cut travel titles from The Paper Wizard and Petticoat Parlor to scrapbook our trips to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Alas, I didn't win the grand prize (one of the scrap & storage desks) but I did win an Envelope Punch Board and some Lestrat Markers. It was a fun but exhausting weekend. Back to cardmaking and preparing for a Wedding Shower and a Wedding!
Happy Crafting!
Donna
