House of Cards August Classic & Elegant

It's another challenge over at the House of Cards Challenge Blog and it is the Classic & Elegant team's turn to post.  This month our challenge is a sketch.

Here is my inspiration for the sketch.

I wasn't happy with the harsh lines in the sketch and wanted to find a way to soften them into something a little more elegant.  The punched circles from Basic Grey Fresh Cut DP helped a lot.  I used the Stampin'Up!  Beautiful Baroque EF and the Lovely Romance stamp to further soften the lines of the sketch.  Come join us and link your inspiration of the sketch HERE.

Happy Crafting!

  1. I love playing with sketches and see what other people make. Your personal twist of using circles is a great example of how to make the sketch fit your style, that's exactly what I find so inspiring with sketches.

  2. Totally in love with all the fun layering, Donna! The colors are awesome and the kraft with texture is perfect! HUGS! :) Mynn xx

  3. Love your interpretation of the sketch!
