OWH Midweek Throwdown Blue and Green

The midweek throwdown at Operation Write Home (OWH) this week is a color throwdown using blue and green and a challenge to add orange or a neutral.  I have been having a lot of fun with OWH Sketch #162 (modified for this challenge).  When I found this cute blue and green sticker in my Creative Memories stash I knew this was the starting point for my card.

I have been working to use up this Fabulous Paper pack since Creative Memories has retired it.  There are still some supplies available but it is going away.  It has some great color combinations in it and I used the Mat Stack to make this card.  I inked the paper ribbon and paper buttons with Tim Holtz Distressed Ink ink in Dried Marigold.

Happy Crafting!

  1. Excellent card! I absolutely need to make more sentiment only cards. I have so much paper and when I see such great cards like this one, my Mojo just goes crazy! Love those inked up buttons too!

  2. Very pretty papers and you orange buttons are a terrific, colorful touch. Matting everything with white really brought out the beauty of the papers.
