January Birthday

An retired Air Force girlfriend has the same birthday month as I do.  Every year in January we spend an overnight at the Colorado Casinos with another Army girlfriend and celebrate our birthdays.  Here is the card I made for my Air Force girlfriend.

Memory Box exclusive Stamp & Die, Inspired by Stamping Sentiment, Card by Crafty Colonel (Donna Nuce), Birthday card

The carnation Memory Box stamp and die is an exclusive at Simple Pleasures, a local LSS in Colorado Springs.  I snatched it up because the Carnation is the flower for January birthdays!  The birthday sentiment is from Inspired by Stamping "A Lovely Birthday."  Ribbon is Really Reasonable ribbon.  Tomorrow I celebrate my actual Birthday with my Mom and Sister for lunch and DH and DD for dinner!

Blog Candy!
In honor of my birthday I am giving away two stamp sets to one lucky commenter on this blog post!  You have until January 22nd to comment.

  4. Hi Donna. Thanks for visiting my blog. I recognized you from OWH. Happy birthday to you. Your card is lovely. I especially like the turned down corner. Now I want to look more at those cards in your next post up. I need to do the Christmas cards early. I sent out about 65 handmade cards and I waited until the last minute. Ack!
